Green chemistry Network of India is the first association of chemistry involved
in development and propagation of various principles of Green chemistry in India.
All those who attended the 2nd Indo-US workshop in Green chemistry are the members
of the network. They are from various universities, industries, research organizations
and government officials from department of science and technology and environment ministry.
The GCNC Network was formally launched by Prof. John C. Warner during second Indo-US workshop
in Delhi in 2006. The primary goal of GCNC is to strengthen the network between educators,
industry and research organizations that are practicing Green Chemistry or are keen to do so.
This shall result in broadening the conceptual base and popularizing the teaching of Green
